First Attempt at a Digipak cover

This is my original design for my Digipak cover with my own photography, created on photoshop.
I embossed the image to blur it and give it an almost sketched look as I thought this would stand out to my target  audience. My target audience ranges from  late teens to young adult to adult (about 16 to 30), I think this design would appeal to my target audience fo many reasons. One reason is that it's not very often that you see this sort of design on a digipak and because it is different it will stand out more. Another reason this design will appeal to my target audience is that it has a focus on nature (trees in particular) - the artwork works well as you often associate art with nature (you see alot of paintings and drawings of nature).

My digipak cover is quite differen to the digipaks I have loked at such as Noah and the Whale and Mumford and Sons - though it is different it still fits in with the folk genre.

The one thing I dislike about my digipak is the font that 'The Oh Hellos' is written in so I may change that so it suits the image more.

  1. This is a very artistic cover which is unusual to see these days.

    - How does this suit your research, audience and band?
    - Check your spelling of 'first' in your title.
