This was the photos taken on our day scouting out set ideas from Bawsey Pits (josh took the pictures as I do not have a camera - I use this piece of media only for the pictures as I could not take my own).
The hill areas on page 3 could be good for the scene in the music video where the protagonist trys to run up a hill to catch up with the rest of the group. A problem I see with this is that the character originally starts leaning against a car and looks at the group on the hill - the hill we are thinking about using is nowhere near the car park. This could be bad for continuity.
We plan to use a certain part of Bawsey Pits for the isolation scene (page 8) - it as a thin beach area that protudes into the lake. You can see this area from several different points around the lake which will be good as it will allow us to have several shots from different angles of the protagonist. Also as it is from a distance it will make the protagonist look smaller compared to the vast nature and give a sense and appearance of loneliness.
A problem we have found (page 14) is that people have used different parts of Bawsey Pits for fly tipping. To reduce this as a problem, we won't film near sites that have been used for fly tipping but if we need that area we will avoid having these areas in the shots of our camera.
On page 18 it shows the set we plan to use for the end of the video. It is a small cliff face next to a small beach, both facing out towards the lake. The group will perform their lip sync part on the field near the cliff. This is the cliff we plan to have the protagonist sat on while the rest of the group messes around on the beach.
